🎯 Invitation

Using a design competition brief as a starting point, identify and modify an existing product, system or behaviour using a circular design strategy

🔍Background

This brief is called Modify, and it is an invitation to re-design everything! The aim of this brief is not to design a new product, rather to choose an existing one to be modified. To help you choose you have to use a design competition as a starting point, you don't need to finish the product within this brief only probe the context of the brief. Your modification should consider circular design strategies to refuse, reduce, reuse, repair, refill, retail, rent, redirect, recycle, reclaim and regenerate. Ultimately our aim in circular design is to design out waste; this project should now try to go beyond recycling and biodegradability (or, if included they should be closed-loop meaning controlled by the manufacturer not left to the consumer).
